Circa 15 anni fa Piero Morari, un laico interessato ai problemi dell’emarginazione, inizia ad occuparsi di una realtà di disagio sofferto in Guatemala da un gruppo di persone, chiamati “Desplazados”, che avevano perso, in seguito alle guerre civili, casa, lavoro e identità civile. Insieme all’associazione “Apasci” e alla Fondazione “Piccini” lavora alla costruzione del “Villaggio Piero Morari”.
Questo cd di ballabili anni 60, registrato con il gruppo bresciano dei The The,tra i quali Chico Morari,fratello di Piero, ha contribuito al mantenimento di questo villaggio e ad altre iniziative umanitarie in Africa.
